The seven-seater Evalia MPV is expected to be priced between Rs 6-10 lakh.
Nissan India is gearing up to roll our its newest MPV, the all-new 2012 Nissan Evalia in the Indian market on 26 September 2012. The seven-seater MPV is expected to be accompanied with a price tag ranging between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 10 lakh and will compete with the likes of the Toyota Innova, Mahindra Xylo and the more recently launched Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
Also known as the NV200 overseas, the Evalia is more of a utilitarian van than a typical MPV. The tall, boxy silhouette and the rear sliding doors are no match for the design seen in some of the modern MPVs like the Ertiga and the Innova.

However, underneath the rather uninspiring bodywork lies a tuned version of the proven 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine courtesy of the Renault-Nissan alliance. Producing about 85PS of power and 200Nm of torque, the Evalia is expected to perform just as well, if not better than the Ertiga in real world conditions.
Stay tuned to OnCars.in as we bring you all the latest information about the all-new 2012 Nissan Evalia MPV as we inch closer to its launch.
