Pemier Rio to get Fiat multijet diesel engine

Fiat may soon sign a deal with their old partner, Premier, to supply diesel engines for the Premier Rio. The Pune-based manufacturer intends to source 1.3-litre multijet diesel engine from Fiat, so that the BSIV compliant diesel variant can be sold in the metro cities. Fiat has officially confirmed about the talks and disclosed that engine producing 75Ps – same tuning used for Maruti Swift and Tata Vista, has been requested by Premier.

Good decision by Premier.... In the current scenario, its wise to go for diesel car and prudent to choose a Fiat multijet engine which has better mileage over others
