Petrol prices may drop by a rupee while diesel might become around 50p dearer, from as early as tomorrow.

As they say 'what goes back comes back around', it's probably time to start using your petrol powered car again. Why? Well, another price revision is expected to take place very soon.

Fuel Price revision: Petrol might become cheaper, diesel costlier

Since international oil rates have dropped, petrol is expected to be cheaper by Re 1 per litre. But on the other hand, diesel could see a hike of 40-50p per litre. Since oil companies were losing around Rs 11 per litre of diesel, the government had allowed them to regulate (increase in small amounts) the prices until the loss is leveled.

The revised prices are expected to be in effect from as early as March 15.

Ye dil maange more. Kindly reduce petrol prices by Rs 25 per liter by increasing LPG prices by Rs. 25 per kg or Rs. 375 per 14.2 kg Remember we Indians use 160 billion liters of petrol and 160 billion kg of LPG each year. If Any objections please check your profit and loss at above desired LPG price at Rs 850 per domestic cylinder and petrol at Rs 49 per liter. My profit Rs 15 k a year at consumption of Rs. 2 liters petrol a day and 9 cylinders of domestic LPG cylinder a year. If you are at loss than you can replace use of costly LPG by free infinite solar and dirt cheap induction .
