Says it has entered the Indian market at the right time

Renault recently launched the Fluence executive sedan in India as a part of its solo campaign in the Indian market. As a part of its local launches, while revealing the Fluence to the dealerships and media in Kolkata, Renault disclosed that they aim to gain up to 2.5 per cent market share in Indian in the long term. Renault also confirmed that it plans to launch five new models before 2012 end – majority of which could be shown at the 2012 Auto Expo in Delhi. Renault is also looking at entering the LCV market in India, where their partners, Nissan, have already made an entry with the ‘Dost’ LCV.
