Renault unveils their MRF Challenge car

Apart from running a team in the championship, Renault is the official engine supplier for the series.

It's the best time for Motorsport fans in India.

 

Apart from the ongoing Formula1 weekend, MRF Challenge has been announced too. A total of 10 races are scheduled between October 26 and February 10. For this year, the MRF Formula cars will be powered by a Renault Sport supplied 2-litre engine (F4R832), which makes a max power of 210PS @ 6500 rpm and a max torque of 220Nm @ 5500 rpm. Renault also announced the factory team for the MRF Challenge. Backed by Renault, the two team cars will be driven by Jon Lancaster and Alice Powell.

Renault unveiled their team car for the championship and also arranged a short drive for the winners of the 'Ticket to Formula 1' contest and some members of the media around a specially designed track in Renault India's Scala and Pulse with none other than Mark Webber behind the wheel. 

Add to make things even better, Mark Webber qualified for the second spot on the grid today.
This weekend's going to make Renault fans very happy indeed!
