Rolls Royce Phantom Series II launched in India at Rs 4.5 crore

The 2013 Phantom range comprising of the extended wheelbase limo, saloon, coupe and convertible bows into India.
The British luxury car maker Rolls Royce have yet again begun a new chapter in redefining luxury and contemporary design by rolling out the Rolls Royce Phantom Series II in the Indian market at Rs 4.5 crore.
The launch event took place earlier today in Mumbai in the presence of Mr Herfried Hasenoehrl, Rolls Royce Motor Cars General Manager - emerging markets Asia, Mr Hal Serudin, corporate communications manager, Asia-Pacific and Mr Sharad Kachalia, sales and marketing, Rolls Royce Motor Cars Mumbai.
The flagship model Phantom II is being offered in a total of four variants - the Phantom, the Phantom Extended Wheelbase, the Phantom Drophead Coupe and the Phantom Coupe.
Powering the new Phantom Series II is a hand-assembled 6.75-litre V12 engine producing 453PS of max power. The flight from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in mere 5.7 seconds.

Speaking of design, the new Series II comes with a host of changes seen on the exteriors as well as the interiors. There is a new modern looking front end, new rectangular light apertures and re-designed front bumpers filled with LED light clusters. The Phantom Coupe and the Dropdead Coupe now come sight a single piece grille surround, while the Phantom features a new rear bumper that incorporated polished stainless steel highlights.
On the inside, there is a new dashboard a bigger LCD screen and BMW's iDrive system along with a few other new and improved features. The rear seats have been elevated by 18mm.
