Tata Motors launch Manza Elan

What might look like a hurried response to the launch of the Toyota Etios, Tata Motors have launched the Manza Elan. With a bit of cosmetic mods here and there, the Elan does not get any major exterior changes.

The changes seen on the interiors are Dual tone interiors, new plastics for the dashboard. On the exterior, the Manza Elan gets –A new Tyrian wine colour, dual tone alloy wheels, chrome garnished fog lamps and bottom weather strips. The new features include – ‘follow me home headlamps’ and ‘delayed power window’ which allows you to roll up the windows with a press of a button if the the keys are not in the ignition.

The safety and security features like ABS, airbags, multistage drive away auto locking, rear demister, collapsible steering, energy absorbing steering wheel, door intrusion beam for side impact are also included. Equipped with 90PS Safire petrol & Quadrajet diesel engines, prices for the Elan start from Rs 5.14 lakhs for the Safire petrol range and from Rs 5.91 lakhs for the Quadrajet diesel range (ex-showroom, Delhi)

Providing so many features in the entry level midsized sedan should definitely boost the sales of the Manza, if not make it a hot seller like a Toyota Etios.
