The registrations opened from April 1, 30 candidates will be selected from 25 cities across India.

Nissan has launched the third season of NSBM (Nissan Student Brand Manager) Campaign – a six months long campaign which is open for management student across India. Thirty students will be selected through a screening process in 25 cities, conduct by a group of elite panellists including marketing guru Nirmalya Kumar from London Business School.

The selected students will receive a grant of Rs 10,000 per month along with Nissan Micra, to help them conceptualize and implement innovative ideas for visibility of Nissan brand and its products. The company has also absorbed four students from the previous batched on to its payroll and plans to take a few more this year. 

The NSBM activities will involve   unique activities like setting up test-drives in colleges to creating a buzz about Nissan products among student community. The campaign is open to second year management students across the country; Nissan has sent out invitations to over 900 institutions including to colleges in the Eastern part of the country. Some of the leading B-schools like IIM-Indore, IMT Ghaziabad, VIT, IIM-C, IIT-M will be participating in the NSBM campaign this year. The registration process is opened from April 1, while the screening process will begin from May in five zones followed by a 2 day final round in July in Delhi.

NSBM is creating a lot of goodwill for Nissan among the students community, which will certainly help the brand in the long run – apart from visibility directed created by the appointed brand managers. The entire screen process will also be aired on Bloomberg in the coming months.
