Toyota Corolla Altis Aero diesel launched for Rs 13.04 lakh

Last month, Toyota Kirloskar Motor had introduced a new limited edition of the Corolla Altis sedan called the Corolla Altis Aero to mark the 10th anniversary of the sedan in the Indian market. At the time, the Japanese company has only launched the petrol variant of the Corolla Altis Aero at Rs 11.48 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and at Rs 11.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai), while stating that the diesel variant could make its way into the market as well, depending upon the market demand. 

And the way the auto industry has been operating over the last few months, it is no shocker  that the demand for diesel powered vehicles has become inversely proportional to the increase in the cost of petrol. Which is why, Toyota without any further delay has also introduced the diesel variant of its limited edition Corolla Altis at Rs 13.04 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai), which had been missing last month. 

In terms of added features, the Corolla Altis Aero gets two new color shades – Silver Mica Metallic and Black Mica. The car also receives a sporty treatment to the overall design thanks to restyled front and rear bumper besides the boot spoiler that comes with LEDs. Other exterior changes include a new set of 7-spoke alloy wheels and chrome-finished exhaust tip. On the inside, the car comes with dual-tone seats embossing the Aero branding for that exclusive touch. 

Both the petrol and diesel variants of the limited edition Toyota Corolla Altis Aero will be offered on sale until September 2012.
