Toyota Etios Liva TRD Sportivo Limited Edition launched at Rs 5.23 lakh

Only 1,200 units of the limited edition hatchback will be built and sold until October 2012.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today have rolled in the new Toyota Liva TRD Sportivo Limited Edition to mark the first anniversary of the Etios Liva hatchback. The Limited Edition model has been designed by the Toyota Racing Development (TRD) Japan and only 1,200 units wii be built and offered on sale until October 2012. Both petrol and diesel options are made available with prices starting at Rs 5.23 lakh for the petrol version and Rs 6.32 lakh for the diesel powered Etios Liva. (All prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi.)

In terms of design, the Limited Edition Liva TRD looks much more aggressive and sportier than that regular Etios Liva, thanks to the new front bumper spoiler, aerodynamic side skirt, two-tone rear bumper spoiler and two-tone roof spoiler. The specially designed 15 inch alloy wheels are given a gun-metal finish, while the Limited Edition "TRD Sportivo" chrome badge has been affixed on the boot lid. On the inside, there is a new seat fabric with the "TRD Sportivo" logo and silver shift knob.
The Toyota Etios Liva TRD Sportivo will be offered in two exclusive colours - White and Utramarine Blue. Bookings and deliveries of the Limited Edition hatchback have commenced today at all company dealerships across the country.

Speaking on the occasion of the launch Mr Hiroshi Nakagawa, managing director, TKM, said “We are glad to introduce Liva TRD Sportivo Limited Edition, on the occasion of the first anniversary of Etios Liva. Etios and Etios Liva have been doing well and our vision, to see growing number of Toyota happy customers and Toyota families, is beginning to materialize. We will soon begin the domestic production of engine and transmission in the third quarter of 2012 and early 2013 respectively, at our facility in Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts. We also exported the first batch of Etios series to South Africa in April this year. We thank our customers for their appreciation of Etios and Etios Liva and look forward to their feedback to continuously improve upon the product.”
