Toyota Etios Liva launched in India for Rs. 3.99 lakh

Toyota has launched the much awaited Etios Liva hatchback has been launched in India today. The price for the Toyota Etios Liva hatchback starts at Rs. 3.99 lakh for the base model and Rs. 5.99 lakh for the top end model.

The Toyota Etios Liva will be available across five variants, viz. J (3.99-lakh), G (4.59-lakh), G Opt Pack (5.05-lakh), V (5.49-lakh) and VX (5.99-lakh) and seven colours. The features include airbags, ABS, EBD, keyless entry, alloy wheels, engine immobiliser, chrome garnish on the exteriors, leather garnish on the interiors etc. The Etios Liva hatchback will come with a three year / 1,00,000 km warranty. 

The Toyota Etios Liva has been launched only in the petrol option right now with a 1.2-litre engine that puts out 80 PS or power. Toyota however, has confirmed that it understands the need of a diesel Etios sedan and Etios Liva hatchback. Toyota has also confirmed that they are ready with diesel engines for the Etios platform and will introduce the Etios deisel sedan and the Etios Liva diesel once the petrol variants stabilise in the Indian market. Automatic transmission variants of both the Etios sedan, and the Etios Liva hatckback, are also on the cards and could be introduced at a later stage.
