The two-seater, electric city car will make its official debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

Toyota Corp. has released the first teaser image of it's electric city car called i-Road Concept ahead of the model's official debut at the upcoming 2013 Geneva Motor Show that is slated to get underway in March 2013.

The teaser image only reveals a small blurb and a top-view rendering of what could be an urban-vehicle game changer. From the looks of it, the i-Road Concept seems to be ahead of its time in terms of design and features a 1+1 seating arrangement. The concept is being described by the Japanese company as a zero-emission vehicle, which is fun to drive, is emission-free and is swiftly and efficiently able to transport two people in an urban environment.

More details of the i-Road, including the specifics of its electric propulsion system, will be revealed in Geneva on March 5, 2013.
