Video: Mercedes Benz G63 AMG 6x6 is invincibly awesome!

With some fierce high-speed off-road abilities under its belt, the G63 AMG is no stranger to conquering new territories. But Mercedes Benz’s latest offering is somewhat of a treat for those who feel the standard G63 AMG isn’t extreme enough.

Originally designed for the Australian military in 2011, the G63 AMG 6x6 you see here is the civilian version that gets the 5.5-litre twin-turbocharged V8, putting out 540PS of power. The original military-spec version on the other hand features a 3-litre turbo diesel unit.

Thanks to the hefty power output, the six-wheeled G63 AMG is good for a 0-100kmph sprint time of less than 6 seconds and onto a limited top speed of 160 kmph which can be achieved over any given surface.  

Mercedes Benz has officially confirmed that the G63 AMG 6x6 will be sold in extremely limited numbers with each costing at least thrice the price of the standard G63 AMG.
