With clear focus to update the portfolio, the new Brio hatch focuses to revive the sales in hatchback segment. The new Honda Brio Facelift has received fresh updates on the exterior and interiors likewise the Amaze sedan. Sharing the space with rivals such as Hyundai Grand i10 and Chevrolet Beat, the Brio hatch sports only cosmetic updates and the mechanical front remains untouched. It sports all-new bumpers, wider single piece air dam at the front with fog lamp mountings and blacked out chrome grille. Dimensionally, the new Brio remains the same with length of 3610mm, width of 1680mm and height of 1500mm along with wheelbase of 2345mm.
The hatchback is manufactured at company’s facility located at Greater Noida with more than 80 percent of parts supplied from the Indian traders. The 2016 Honda Brio hatch comes equipped with the same 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine which develops 90bhp of max power @ 6,000 rpm against the peak torque of 109Nm @ 4,500 rpm. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual and an optional 5-speed automatic unit.
