Chevrolet Beat facelift

The Beat has been doing fairly well for India and despite its age, it is still the most radical and futuristic looking car in its segment. However, 2013 will witness the launch of the facelift model of the Beat which was unveiled in 2012 at the New York Motor Show in its US-spec guise and later at the Paris Motor Show as the Euro-spec model. Both the models are largely similar to each other and the Indian version won’t be any different.
The refreshed Beat will wear revised bumpers which also have a new design for the fog lamps and a seamless air-dam connecting them. The grille will be given a slight redesign too. The tailgate will get redesigned bumpers and the taillights will have a slightly different detailing. The interiors will not see a major change either.
The engine options for the Beat facelift will remain unchanged too - a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder engine fuelled by petrol and/or LPG and the 1.0-litre diesel engine derived from the 1.3-litre oiler that propels the Sail twins. The Beat facelift will be launched by early / mid-2013 and will be priced slightly higher than the outgoing model.
