The spacious, feature-rich cabin makes for an ideal chauffeur driven car.

Renault Scala RxZ X-tronic CVT

Unlike the exterior design, Renault has made no changes or upgrades to the Scala’s cabin. The design, layout and even the colour of the dashboard look exactly similar to that of the Nissan Sunny. But as is the case with the Sunny, living inside the generous cabin of the Scala is a truly comfortable experience, and there's plenty of space for full-sized occupants in front.

The real deal though is the backseat. The Scala simply takes the crown when it comes to choosing the ideal chauffeur driven car. The ample legroom is good enough even for those scaling six feet and higher. The centre-arm rest and the adjustable headrests for the rear bench further add to the comfort levels, but having said that, some more under-thigh support would have been welcome.

As for the feature list, the top-spec RxZ variant that we had features all the bells and whistles one would look for in a car of this size. Besides climate control, electric rear-view mirrors and steering mounted audio controls, it also gets keyless entry and push button start.

Overall, the Scala automatic makes for a desirable choice for those looking for a feature-rich executive sedan with tons of space.
