Bajaj Auto launched its flagship model Dominar 400 in India at an amazing price of INR 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) at a glittering event in Delhi last month. The motorcycle has been receiving an overwhelming response from the audience and the latest bit confirms that Bajaj has received 2500 bookings so far for the Dominar 400. The demand for the Bajaj Dominar 400 is likely to increase in the upcoming weeks once the bike starts rolling on the roads. Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director, Bajaj Auto has earlier stated that he aims to sell 10,000 units of the Dominar 400 per month.
Bajaj Dominar 400 is powered by a 373cc, liquid-cooled engine that has been linked to a six-speed transmission system. The fuel injected motor develops a maximum power output of 34.5 bhp along with a peak torque of 35 Nm. This is the same unit that has been fitted in the KTM 390 Duke. However, the power has been detuned in order to deliver cruiser characteristics to the motorcycle.
The prime highlights of the Bajaj Dominar 400 is the muscular styling and the LED headlamp section that it comes with. The headlamp section consists of white Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) that look stunning during both, days and nights. Bajaj Dominar 400 is being sold through 80 dealerships across the country in the initial phase. The deliveries of the motorcycle have commenced in 22 Indian cities. The Dominar 400 is seen a rival of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 along with KTM 390 Duke and the Mahindra Mojo. Also Read: Bajaj Dominar 400: 5 Key Points you should not miss out on
