Skoda set foot in India quite a while back and went off to a flying start with the Octavia. But after the failure of the Superb and the imported Fabia, the new Superb and the localized Fabia got things rolling for Skoda India once again. Later, they introduced new models like the Yeti crossover and made-for-India Rapid sedan to further strengthen its stronghold in the brand-conscious Indian market.
