The facelifted version of the Swift was shown in July this year for the first time. Featuring extremely minor design updates, the facelifted model is distinguished by the revised front bumper with the L shaped LEDs and a new grille. At the back, the updated model gets a high mounted LED brake light.
Inside, the only bit of update comes in the form of the new design seat fabric featuring black as its keynote colour with lined accents of blue and grey. As for the greasy bits, the facelifted Swift remains pretty much unchanged. The car continues to be powered by the same 1.2-litre K-Series petrol and 1.3-litre DDIS diesel engine.
The existing Swift has been around the Indian market since 2011 without any updates whatsoever. Maruti Suzuki, then, could reveal the facelifted version at the upcoming 2014 Auto Expo just to rejuvenate its hot seller.
