A heavily camouflaged prototype of the 2015 model year Dodge Challenger has been caught on test in the US, suggesting that development on the upcoming model has just begun. The 2015 Challenger has been spied earlier but with noticeably less camo when compared to the prototype shown here.
In terms of changes, Dodge is said to be carrying out quite a few extensive design upgrades with revised front bumper, grille, new hood and a redesigned pair of headlights and tail lights.
Alongside this 2015 year model, Dodge is readying a high-performance Challenger SRT8 which could be powered by a 6.2-litre HEMI V8 engine. Named ‘Hellcat’, the car will compete against the likes of Ford Mustang GT500 and Chevrolet Camaro Z/38 for the crown of the ultimate modern-day muscle car.
