What you see here is the first official set images of the BMW 4-Series convertible, which has just been leaked on the web. The images come close on the heels of the high-performance 2014 M3 and M4 which were partially revealed by BMW last month.
Based on the regular 4-Series coupe, this convertible version will replace the current 3-Series convertible. The final production-spec model will be officially revealed at the 2013 LA Auto Show. Under the hood, the 4-Series convertible will be offered with a choice of 2-litre, 4 cylinder turbocharged engine and a 3-litre six-cylinder engine. Power output is likely to be rated at 240PS and 300PS for the 4-cylinder and the six-cylinder engine respectively.
Stay tuned for more details on the model as BMW will officially reveal the 4-Series convertible at the LA Auto Show in November.
