Honda Mobilio is a seven-seater MPV produced by Japanese automaker Honda. Mobilio is the most awaited upcoming Honda MPV, which is to be launched in India soon. Mobilio will be offered in both petrol and diesel versions. The 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol and the 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engines are claimed to make Mobilio the most fuel efficient petrol and diesel car in its segment. These engines in Mobilio are inherited by the new-generation Honda City.

Honda is planning to launch Mobilio in July 2014 at prices starting from approximately INR 7.5 lakhs for India. Last week Honda has introduced a new variant of Mobilio MPV in Indonesia with a price tag of approx INR 10.19 lakhs. Meanwhile, in India as per the reports suggest that some dealers of Honda across the country have started accepting the booking for Mobilio with a token of INR 51,000.

Honda is trying to encash the popularity of television's most sought after celebrity, Kapil Sharma to promote Mobilio and woo Indian audience. Kapil Sharma plays salesman in the four-part digital ad series created by Honda?s creative agency. Kapil at his wittingly best will be trying to sell the car to four different kinds of consumers. In the first ad film that has already gone viral, he is seen selling the car to a female customer.

In India, Honda Mobilio will take on the present MPV?s like Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Chevrolet Enjoy and Nissan Evalia. If priced correctly the Mobilio can give tough competition to other MPV's
