Hyundai has done extremely well in the European markets for years now. Ranking amongst the leading budget brands alongside Suzuki and Renault, the Korean carmaker has taken all the right steps in zooming into Europe’s supermini segment with the hugely popular i20 and the i10.
Having made its mark as a maker of affordable, feature-rich cars, Hyundai is now looking to step onto the performance side of things. The company has just launched a new performance sub-brand, called N.
The sub-brand’s identity stems from Hyundai's Korean base, in Namyang, Korea. The first model to come out under this new brand is the all-new 2014 i20 WRC vehicle which is based on the i20 hatchback.
Hyundai will eventually bring out a range of high performance cars under this new brand.
