What we see here may well the very first set of official images of the much awaited replacement for the Lamborghini Gallardo. Named ‘Huracan’, which stands for hurricane in Spanish, the upcoming supercar will replace the long-lived Gallardo when it will arrive at the 2014 Geneva Motor in March next year.
The Huracan will come powered by an updated version of the Gallardo’s 5.2-litre V10 engine with around 610PS on tap. The V10 will come paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed twin-clutch automatic gearbox.
Besides the regular all-wheel drive version, there will also be a hardcore, rear-wheel drive version which will be introduced at a later stage after the car’s arrival. Stay tuned for more details on the Huracan before its official debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
