Lexus is reportedly readying a replacement for its most outrageous road car yet – the V10 engined LFA. According to a report by Autocar UK, the replacement model based on the LF-LC concept (shown at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show) could go into production.
The report states Haruhiko Tanahashi - the man behind the LFA, hinting at a new Lexus halo model which could already be in development. Lexus’s international boss, Mark Templin, also revealed that a new halo model would reappear; however, a list of new F-badged models will be launched first.
First of the new F-badged models will be RC F coupe with a 5-litre V8 engine making its debut at the Detroit Motor Show next month. Other models will include a GS F and next-gen IS F sedan versions.
