Under the hood, the Terrano is being offered with a choice of 1 petrol and 1 diesel engine. There’s the standard 85PS, 200Nm version and the more powerful 110PS, 250Nm version. Nissan is claiming fuel efficiency figures of 13.2 kmpl for petrol and 20.45 and 19.01 kmpl for 85PS and 110 PS versions respectively.
As for the equipment, the Terrano is available in 5 trim levels – XE, XL, XL Plus, XV and XV Premium. Standard equipment on the top-spec variants includes 16-inch alloy wheels, chrome tail pipe, leather seat upholstery, reverse parking sensors, dual airbags and ABS with EBD.
The compact SUV segment is already a buzzing little field with the Ford EcoSport and the Renault Duster selling in big numbers. Nissan now hopes to lure buyers with the Terrano’s modern exterior design, good quality cabin and practicality.
