Mr Herfried Hasenoehrl, general manager, Emerging Markets Asia said, “We are delighted to be able to expand in India, a market which represents excellent long-term business potential. Along with Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad and Chandigarh, Ahmedabad is another milestone in our strategy of gradual, sustainable business growth. This new home of Rolls-Royce in Gujarat will be managed by one of the country’s most experienced luxury automotive retailers, Navnit Motors, which opened our first dealership in Mumbai during 2005, after a long absence from the Indian market. The history of our cars in India has produced highly bespoke Rolls-Royces like ‘The Star of India’, and so we continue this service today.”
