The Euro NCAP crash-tests new cars to near-destruction for the level of safety they offer both to occupants of the car as well as the pedestrians they might hit during a crash. The new round of its crash test report states that the new Suzuki S-Cross has been awarded with a maximum five-star safety rating.
The SX4 S-Cross performed notably well on its pedestrian protection. Incorporating a large proportion of high-tensile steel for strength and lightness, the crossover scored high in all categories including adult protection, child occupant protection and pedestrian protection.
The S-Cross is quite feature-rich when it comes to safety equipment. The car comes standard with 7 airbags, a speed limiter, ABS, ESP, seatbelt reminder for all seats and seatbelt pre-tensioners and force limiters.
