Earlier, as a part of pre-launch promotion of Zest, Tata Motors had announced the 6 year warranty on the purchase of Tata Zest, according to the sources, this six year warranty is included in the price of the car and the first three years will be the standard warranty and an extended warranty is going to cover the next three years. And additionally, three-year annual maintenance coverage including 24x7 free road side assistance offered to the Zest buyers by the reliable Tata Network.
Tata Zest is competing with the other compact sedans like, Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire, Hyundai Xcent and Honda Amaze in the same segment. Zest has got the attractive looks & features as compared to its competitors. The Zest is available in both petrol and diesel version, the base model of Zest is available at INR 4.64 Lakhs which goes all the way up to INR 5.64 Lakhs for the top variant.
Talking about the engine, Zest is available in both petrol and diesel engines, the petrol engine is equipped with 1.2-litre Revotron engine which can produce the max power of 88.73 BHP and 140 NM of torque while diesel engine, while diesel engine is powered by 1.3 litre Multijet engine to make 88.73 BHP and 200 NM of torque. Both the engine is available with 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). The petrol engine of Zest can give the mileage of 18 KMPL while diesel can deliver 23KMPL of mileage.
