What you see here is the first official set images of the all-new BMW M235i, which has just been leaked on the web, thanks to a WorldCarFans reader. The images have surfaced just a day ahead of the car’s official unveiling date i.e. October 25, 2013.
The top-spec M235i will source its power-train from the M135i hothatch. The car, in fact, will be powered by a turbocharged straight-six, 3-litre engine producing 320PS of power and 450 Nm of torque. BMW will be offering a super quick 8-speed automatic gearbox which will allow the car to hit 100kmph from standstill in just 4.8 seconds.
There will also be a manual gearbox-equipped version but it will be slightly slower to 100kmph from standstill, taking about 5 seconds. BMW has already stopped making the 1-Series coupe and convertible models and is all set to reveal the new 2-Series tomorrow. So stay tuned for all the details on this new baby sports coupe.
