Good: Besides offering plenty of style and road presence, the Fluence also boasts of a plethora of creature comforts and lots of space to appeal to the buyer of this segment. And the fact that it’s quite rare makes it even more appealing to the sort of buyers who want to stand out amongst the usual crowd.
Bad: Despite the upgrades, the diesel engines still lacks outright punch. The interior doesn't feel particularly plush when compared to some of the rivals.
Verdict: The revised diesel engine features better drivability and power, making the Fluence a lot livelier on the road. The car still lacks the outright punch that's needed when making a quick overtake on the highway.
