Good: Powered by the familiar 2.0 TDI diesel engine, the Yeti offers a peppy drive while ensuring good fuel economy. With such a good blend of performance, comfort and economy, there's very little to fault this compact SUV.
Bad: Compared to the other SUVs in its price range, the Yeti seems like it belongs to a lower segment simply of the fact it's being sold in a country where size-to-price ratio still rules the roost.
Verdict: The Yeti is a mixed bag. It does a whole lot of things well, but nothing about it stands head and shoulders above the competition except for its practical, quality interior. This is also a disputed point, since it doesn't have three rows of seats, a requirement for an SUV in India, and neither does it have the sticker price to consolidate that 'practical' tag.
